Poster Presentation Guidelines

  1. In order to participate and present your poster, you will be required to register for PHM 2018.
  2. The poster board area for your presentation is 4 feet high x 8 feet wide. DO NOT exceed this size as we will not be able to accommodate your poster.
  3. The poster number provided to you will correspond to a numbered poster board within the poster presentation area. You are required to display your poster on the poster board to which you have been assigned.
  4. Conference staff at the registration desk can direct you to the poster presentation area and will answer any questions you may have.
  5. For Poster Session A, your poster must be set up at least one hour prior to the poster session start time: 3:15 PM on Thursday, July 19th. Posters must be removed by 4:15 PM on Friday, July 20th, when the Exhibit Hall closes. Posters not removed by the assigned removal time will be taken down by staff and held at the registration desk. If posters held at the registration desk are not claimed by 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 23rd, they will be discarded.
  6. For Poster Session B, your poster should be set up at 7:30 AM on Saturday, July 22nd. Posters must be removed immediately following the end of the session when the Exhibit Hall closes at 6:30 PM. Posters not removed by the assigned removal time will be taken down by staff and held at the registration desk. If posters held at the registration desk are not claimed by 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 23rd, they will be discarded.
  7. If you are a trainee, we strongly recommend that you seek advice regarding your poster presentation from a senior faculty member at your institution.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

  1. In order to participate and deliver your presentation, you will be required to register for PHM 2018.
  2. Each oral presentation will be allotted 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answer. We will adhere strictly to this time limit and request that you plan your presentation accordingly.
  3. All oral presenters are required to submit their presentation slides to the PHM Staff Liaison for review by the PHM 2018 leadership. Your presentation slides must be submitted by 5:00 PM ET on Monday, May 21st. The slides you submit should be the final version of your presentation. Slides must be prepared according to these PowerPoint preparation requirements.
  4. All oral presenters should bring their final presentation slides on a USB drive to the presentation room.
  5. If you are a trainee, we strongly recommend that you seek advice regarding your oral presentation from a senior faculty member at your institution.
